CHAMBER LOYALTY OFFERS

We have partnered with The South African Shop to offer

Chamber members a 10% discount for online purchases to

all their products.

The South African shop was started by Mike Miller in 1999, it was based in Maidenhead.

At that time the UK still had a steady flow of working holiday visa holders; and in order to
fulfil the need for home country loved foods and products, The South African Shop was
born with both retail and online stores – southafricanshop.co.uk. Mike sold the business

in 2011 to Jumbo Importers; and we still strive to maintain the same customer service,
that was characteristic of the business.

Since then, The South African Shop has had a few facelifts, we have grown in customer
numbers and added benefits; like special discount weekends, multi buy specials, and

‘Boerewors roll Saturdays’ once a month at the Colnbrook shop. The business changed
ownership again in 2018, when Schalk Scholtz retired. The current owners are Robbie
Morrison and Corne Bouwer.

Jumbo Importers is one of the biggest SA importers in the UK, with over 20 years’

experience in the import industry.

We have a vast stock list of South African
products including cooldrinks, biscuits, sauces,
spices, iron pots (Potjie), beers, ciders, African

curios and Cotton Road handbags. Despite
the limitations, due to certain EU laws, some
favourite products are now restricted but we
are continually sourcing other alternatives to

substitute those. It is our desire to satisfy and
make our loyal customers happy.

Jumbo Importers has its own onsite butchery,
at the Colnbrook warehouse. Biltong, droewors,

chilli bites and our famous Original Boerewors
are produced from fresh ingredients here. It
is well known that the meat products from our

butchery are in high demand, once tasted, and
repeat purchases are continually made. Jumbo
has a retail shop in Colnbrook Industrial Estate,
