Carelessness?
I call it
"Happiness"
By knowing the reason behind this
phenomenon, you may be a little
more familiar with the idea of
“carelessness” of Taiwanese. But I’m
not suggesting that you do as the
Taiwanese do, it’s actually far from
that.
My intention is to get everyone involved
in my culture and embrace the
happiness that we locals are so used to
that we tend to ignore. We all know
about how friendly the people in
Taiwan are, but on what degree does
that really define our friendliness. This
phenomenon is a clear example to
showcase the hospitality and
genuineness of Taiwanese, and it also
acts as a reminder for the local to
cherish what we have enjoyed for a long
time.
Next time, if you see a wallet on a table,
don’t freak out, and don’t take that to
the lost and found either. Because after
the owner comes back, they may lose
not only their seats but also their
delighted days altogether.
