1 make the outline of the mushroom

Using 6B scribble over the background
creating a base for the shadows and
foliage. Slant the pencil to its side to
cover a larger area like the background
at top left .

lay down far apart scribbles for light areas 2
and darker scribbles for the shadow .
Use the 2B pencil .

Scribble dark areas with tight scribbles.
scribble in a triangle shape to
resemble leaves .There will be darker
tones under the mushroom because of
shadows and lighter tones around it .

3 Fill in the blanks with medium shading

making a gradient transition from dark to
light .If there is higlight work your
way around it .
