Summary:


                   Hair colour as seen by the eye is a result of white light being absorbed
                   into the hair structure through the cuticle cells, split into individual visible
                   wavelengths, then comparable wavelengths to the pigments are reflected,
                   exciting the Retina cone cells in the human eye registering as a single
                   colour.  (Fig 20.)
