Crazy Colour:
Primary and secondary colour vegetable dyes manufactured as a ready to
use product. Crazy-Colour like any other semi-permanent colour works
best on bleached hair eliminating any interference from natural pigments.
I do not know whether it is because Crazy-Colour is a manufactured
product and they remove any fatty tissue present, that makes it possible to
successfully permanently colour and permanently wave over the top of
Crazy-Colour. In particular if you would like to permanently take a white
blonde back to a number 6 dark blonde (Mouse as the British call it).
To avoid a greenish khaki cast first fill the white blonde with Fire Crazy-
Colour after half an hour wash it off, leaving the hair a vibrant red, now
apply a number 6.1 permanent colour as a number 6 on top of the fire
crazy colour.
Now here is an unexplained spooky moment, a client bored with her
blonde highlights, and chooses a Crazy-Colour, say red or green to colour
them. After a week she returns to the salon to say “can you please put
them back to blonde all my friends say that they do not like them green”?
Now what to do, you cannot go through every hair and just bleach them
out highlight by highlight. You could try telling her that they will fade
with every wash and that the colour will disappear completely after six
weeks, returning to blonde.
Now this is the very spooky part; if you apply perm lotion with a sponge
and comb it through you will immediately see the highlights return to
blonde, do not neutralise the hair after rinsing or the colour will return as
instantly as it disappeared.
