decades in the film industry. The one telltale thing about a person

wearing a wig is the hairline; because the hairline on a wig just begins

with the same density of hair as the rest of the wig it looks very unnatural

unless you cover it with a fringe. A natural hairline blends from one or

two hairs getting denser as it travels back into the rest of the head, a type

of natural fade or graduation. By hand knotting an extended area around

the hairline it is possible replicate a natural hairline. The wig comes with

plenty of excess invisible lace netting that can be trimmed down to within

0.5mm of the faded hairline. When the wig is applied, the invisible lace

netting is stuck with glue directly to the skin, which is then completely

disguised by normal makeup.

Acrylic fibre wigs.

Acrylic fibre wigs are built from strips of acrylic fibre weft sewn on to

strips of elastic tape. These strips of elastic tape with acrylic fibre

attached are sewn together to form a base. A small section that has a

rubber base with individual acrylic fibres set into it creates the effect of a

natural skin parting. When this section is sewn into the base between the

strips, it is possible to part the acrylic fibre showing a natural skin

parting, which gives a really natural look to the wig. Because the wig is

made from acrylic fibre you can’t use thermal styling devices on it as it
will melt. Just wash in a bowl of shampoo and water, rinse and shake dry

then the style will return as it dries.

Human hair integration:
Human hair integration is sometimes referred to as a lace weave.

Integration is somewhere between a hand made wig and a hand knotted

hair piece. The easiest way to describe integration is that it is rather like

an old-fashioned hairnet with hair hand knotted to it. Using three strips
