Mixture of both Remi and Non-Remi hair with animal hair and synthetic

hair are not always easy to spot. However, all permanently curled and

chemically straightened hair has to be 100% human hair, because any of

the mixture will not curl and you would spot it immediately.

Hair products with steam set formations could conceal animal hair

mixture, which mats and tangles, plus loses the curl formation after

shampooing.

All machine wefts are 4ounces in weight and usually about 74inches

wide. A weft with a hair length of 10 inches and a weft with a hair length

of 18inches are both 4ounces in weight. This means that the 18inch wefts

will be a shorter width, approximately 60inches wide.

Prebonded hair extensions, are hairs that are held together with an

adhesive, once the adhesive is in a dry state they can be sold and

transported as the right amount of hair for each individual hair extension.

Offer the glue end of the extension to the root of the client’s own hair and

heat to 120% and the glue will turn to liquid, then roll both hair types

together to form a bond.

When you buy a custom-made wig all the different options are explained

to you, and then you make a choice depending on what price you can
afford.

Buying a ready-made machine wig is more a case of asking “what does

this one contain?” Remi, Non-Remi or synthetic fibre. That established

it comes down to what you can get for the price.
