almost invasion of her privacy. Her eyes get irritated from the log burner. She is still sensitive about her digestion. She feels claustrophobic, she is hyper aware of what is going on outside because she cannot see it.’’
Nat carb LM6. Remedy chosen based on her sensitiveness to so many things: the contrast between her kindness and intolerance, when things are not right and smooth. Again, a repertorisation did not seem to help me.
She improves: the jumpiness stops and the itching is controlled, she does not need a repeat Cytopoint. But the lip swelling returns in February. The owner starts Apoquel again.

Nat-c 200c daily for 10 days.
The reports over the following month are ‘she is really well’. The owner then concludes she became irritable when she took Apoquel and went for another Cytopoint injection... But she needed repeated doses of the nat-carb 200c, and later 1M...
When I go to nat-carb 10M, she gets down and she becomes withdrawn. She cannot cope with anything new. But this is temporary and she bounces back quickly and improves again. The owner concludes that the Apoquel did not help her very much.
She gets a bit more itchy again and nat-carb 12C daily helps well. The owner uses the nat-carb 12c on and off and can control the itchiness most of the time without need for any other medication. She can also eat more things and has very little reaction to her food.

The 12c does not control the itch as well anymore: use nat- carb 9C. Patience is doing very well.
23/11/18
The 9c did not help and she became worse to other dogs again: she is tense and her hackles go up. ‘’She is on edge and confused. Something clicked and she got really funny.
She is upset because the owner moved near to her daughter. Her daughter has very unpredictable reactions to Patience. Patience loves the daughter and the daughter is usually nice but at other times can be really unpleasant.
There are some family issues. She is sensitive. She will play with other dogs and then suddenly start snapping at them. The action of running around triggers something in her brain. She loves to play but she loses it. It is almost like the excitement she gets from chasing rabbits: killer instinct’’.
Ign 30c, 2 doses: because of the strange situation with the daughter next door: the confusion: what is the right decision?
No change.

Ph-ac 200c, 2 doses. Ph-ac cannot see the wood from the trees. She does well, she copes better with the relation with the daughter next door. The itch is fine. But in March 2019 it is obvious the itchiness is still not under control. Rather than rushing and looking at the last 1 – 2 reports, I start at the first consultations again and go trough the whole file.

There was a lot about horses, which I did not really look into very well. ‘Dreams horses’, zincum is present. She got irritated from using the Apoquel = consequences of suppression of eruptions.
Zincum 200c. one dose
She gets tired and the itch gets worse for a few days and then she is much better. But the remedy needs repeating
a few times and then later I have to go to the 30c, which helps for a while.

Time for a new long conversation. I clearly have still not really got through to the bottom of the case. “She jumps when somebody come up from behind. She will leap up when I approach her when she is asleep. She loses lots of hair. She is missing something. I think she misses the old friends from where we used to live. She is not worried about the warm weather, No loss of energy. She is more a Jack Russell terrier than a Labrador. Her face lights up when she can be with terriers. She does things to make you laugh. The zincum helped a lot.
She gets worried about dogs that are a bit crazy. She prefers hunting mice and rats rather than playing. She would take a deer out if she could. She is a killing machine, she learned this from Barney. She is cuddly and sleeps on my bed. She does not like it when I am not around. But she is confident in my affection. The only noise she cannot cope with is the smoke alarm. She is an amazing guard dog: a very vicious sort of bark, not a lap dog,’’
Lac lup 30c, 3 doses. Themes, of fears, family, stranger (... relation to Owner’s daughter); maternal (horses); a strong hunting instinct; high energy when exerting.
See opposite. Lac-lup is way down this repertorisation. The purpose of this kind of repertorisation is to get ideas or check whether remedies that seem indicated (and come up in my mind as possibilities) are reasonably well presented. Lac-lup only has about 1000 symptoms in the Complete Repertory, which is always going to put it further down the line of remedies in a large repertoris- ation. One has to keep in mind the presence of a remedy in the repertory. Unless a nice small rubric can be found, finding ‘smaller remedies’ with the repertory can be tricky.
