Less energy. The owner mails me saying that ‘’the ‘This is my mum’ statement is a possessive thing more than anything else. It is a lack of confidence thing, she is uncertain.’’
Give one dose of calc-s 10M again ...

The scratching gets worse but her energy is back to normal. And she gets better in herself generally, she grows up a bit more again.
The owner says: ‘there is 10-12% missing. But she is beginning to get more protective. There is still the feeling of her saying: “I am here, do not ever forget me”. She got worse when she ran under an electric fence and had an electric shock. It took a month to find her confidence again going out on her own in the field’. Anal glands need emptying every 2-3 weeks, The anal glands are a bit of a problem.
Calc-s 50M...
She sleeps again after the remedy and when she woke up her anal glands emptied by themselves (O happy). The licking is less, the ears produced some wax for some time.
The anal gland problem starts to be more and more prominent and she is more itchy when they need emptying. Generally, she digests better but the owner has to be careful not to give too much of certain meats. Root vegetables are fine now.
The owner feels she is stuck. But she has not had any Apoquel for 2 months now.

A last try of calc-s: first one dose of camphora 200c (to
antidote previous prescriptions..) and then calc-s 30c once per day for 2 weeks. (The owner wanted to use the 30c again because she said she did so well on this dilution....)
She gets better, but the anal glands still come and go and the itching comes and goes.
1/3/17
Calc-s 200c for a week. Better but up and down.
9/3/17 calc-s LM5 daily.
Anal glands better less itching but she becomes very intolerant to other dogs sniffing her back end (anal glands...). She has become paranoid about her back end. But her coat is glossy. Anal glands need emptying about every 2 weeks.

The owner started Apoquel again, the itching got worse. ‘’I think the skin was painful. Her whole attitude has changed. She feels stronger now and tolerates the Apoquel better. She is happier since on the Apoquel, more friendly to other dogs. She is shy around people almost as if they have been cruel to her. She loves animals, wants to play with all of them. She seems to go from one extreme to another. I get the feeling that if she would snap at a dog that comes too close she would lose it and not know how to stop. I think she feels this, she is aware of this. She has become very protective of me. She is happier coming out in the garden with me. She is stronger. You helped her a lot. She adores Barney.’’
Mag-phos 200c for one week.
I made a repertorisation, which was not helpful. Mag-
phos was decided on the ambivalence to other dogs: likes them, but can snap at them, possibly with pain being a cause..... I still do not quite get the case....
Good improvement, the Apoquel can be reduced. Less shy, happier. Use remedy when needed.

The improvement stops, and she gets more itchy again.
Mag-phos 1M. Use when needed (still taking Apoquel.)
She improved and then got very tired and slept for 48 hours, then she found great energy again, but things do not improve really and the anal glands keep bothering her. The owner then decides to have them surgically removed. The surgery goes well. No more anal glands issues... but the skin remains the same, up and down and we are only making little progress with the homeopathy but the owner is very satisfied.
I make a few long distance prescriptions of silicea, then later sarsaparilla, then later medusa (she started reacting to eating fish: swelling of lips.) She responds to the remedies positively but never really gets better.
Consultation 5/12/17
She gets sensitive to being touched. The owner stopped Apoquel because she concluded it made her aggressive. The vet replaced the Apoquel by Cytopoint, but she reacts to the injections... like she did to vaccine etc. Every time she has an injection she gets tired. She has not been aggressive with any dogs since the anal gland surgery and stopping Apoquel.
