She is always cuddling up to me, she seems to understand me, she is fine if I do not walk her. I sometimes think she does not understand her own feelings.
She does not like being away from me but when she stays with my daughter she is fine, she does not make a fuss. She may startle from noises but is fine with thunderstorms and fireworks. She is from working stock. (working dogs).She is very licky, lick lick.
When one of the horses lost their foal, it was as if she picked up its sadness. She sat with the mare for quite some time. She tries to communicate: I love you. She can even go up to horses who are frightened of dogs. She sat by the cage of a Yorkshire terrier who damaged her cruciate ligaments: she was really gentle with it. When told off she learns her lesson quickly.
Thinking this was mammal I choose rabbit: lac oryng 200c, 2 doses (Rabbits are known to make good companions for horses..... for what that is worth); leave on apoquel.

She is more itchy on the legs for two weeks after the remedy.
I learn more:
‘She is less itchy, she cannot eat root vegetables, she reacts. She had a contented sleep after the remedy. She is tense inside, almost furtive. She sits inside staring at me when I am in the garden. If Barney, our other dog, comes out, she is jealous and comes out as well. I do sometimes think that a lot of her problems come from her jealousy relating to Barney (= my daughter’s dog who spends a lot of time with us).
She is trembling here it is as if she says: “is anybody looking at me? I hope nobody can see me”. The first time she sees
people it is: “I don’t know you”. The second time they are her best friends. She is afraid if somebody finds out, she is not afraid of being told off, if you tell her off she goes: “why have you done this to me?”
Since the remedy she does not want the tapioca any more. Something has changed.
She is more clingy, she keeps coming back to me on walks making sure which way we are going. She was born in a dark flat, everything was dark and oppressive, they had never been out; a confined space. He security in her body has improved.’
Unconvincing improvement. The owner kept repeating how she reacts to root vegetables. Agg root vegetables: Calc c , but with the theme of jealousy that has appeared (even though she likes the dog) I prescribe Calc sulph (bit risky but due to a lack of inspiration...).
30c daily, one month (she is still on Aoquel)

‘She came out in pustules on her belly then later on her back. My vets gave her antibiotics, the crusts disappeared overnight. She is happy full of energy. Chasing butterflies. She has come for 75% out of her shell.’
Calc-s 10M one dose (test the remedy?)

‘She went berserk after the remedy soo much energy. She broke out in scabs on her back for a while. The fur is growing back. A huge difference. Happier in her own skin.
She hates it if anything takes my attention, if I talk to somebody she will sit close to me and tells me I should not. “My mon is MY mum”. She growled at somebody putting their hand in the boot of my car.
She has found her puppyhood she had left somewhere.’
(She is 2 years old at the time).
One dose of calc-s 30c today and 10M tomorrow.

Periorbital dermatitis.
Had stopped Apoquel but needed to start again after a few days.
‘Sometimes her lips swell, she is not bothered about this. I do not think she has the same energy unless she has grown up. It is as if she is at a cross road. She does not know whether she wants to be better or she does not want to do anything: she almost looks for direction. She is a copy- cat, she follows Barney. Her shyness is less, she went out with the grandchildren in the garden for the first time. She does not feel guilty for being there anymore, she is much bolder. The skin on her belly sometimes goes red hot, it does not bother her.’
Test the remedy: calc-s 200c once per day.

She managed 2 weeks without Apoquel but it then needed to be started again.
‘She is growing up, her energy is fine. She has a good time now without the need to go crazy. We are not quite there yet. She is more clingy than she used to be. She is worried I am going away: “this is my mum”. She likes to be near for some reason. She is funny with my son in low, she does not want to be near him, she does not want to play with him. My daughter and the grandchildren are fine.’
The remedy was good but not right. I have little inspiration and Px Pulsatilla 200c for 7 days.
