I’d like to offer my profound, heartfelt thanks to all of the participants and attendees at these solemn yet rewarding
ceremonies. I especially want to thank Brother Dean “Buzz” Grimes and Brother David Williamson for their
immense work in organizing the multitude of details required to make the Founders Memorial Celebrations such a
success. I am so grateful to have been able to work on this project with such fine, upstanding Brethren. Finally, I’d
like to thank our National Commander, Brother Randy Geck, for his steadfast support throughout the planning and
execution of these momentous events. It sincerely is an honor to serve under such a devoted and caring leader.

SAVE THE DATE!!! The ceremony for Brother Van Deventer is scheduled for Saturday, 29 April, 2023 in
Knoxville, Tennessee. Don’t miss the chance to attend this momentous ceremony which will conclude the Heroes of
’76 Centennial ceremonies paying tribute to our Order’s founders. We plan to have details available on the NSI
website before we gather for our Mid-Winter Meeting. E.I.A.R.!!!
