The convention was recessed and then reconvened for the President’s Banquet where the following activities
ensued after dinner:

Speaker for the Presidents Banquet: Mr. David Harmer, President and CEO of Founding Forward
(formally Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forger) spoke about the merger between The Union League
Legacy Foundation and Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. These two organizations, founded in 1947
and 1949 respectively, united based on their long-standing partnership and shared values. Together as
Founding Forward, they will combine their greatest assets and strengths to become the leading voice and
institution in civic education.
Grand Dame recipient was Carol Geck.
Installation Ceremonies was Brother William G.L. Turner, Installing Officer
Presentations made to the outgoing and incoming National Presidents (Lady Merrill-Lee Warren, Grand
Dame, accepted on behalf of Brother Chuck Warren)
Remarks from the newly installed National President

With the completion of business and festivities, the 104th ANC was closed following the Chaplain’s
benediction.
