CAMP NEWS

JAMES MONROE CAMP, Fort Lee-Richmond Chapter #73 (J. Jeffrey McClelland, Secretary) James
Monroe Camp, Heroes of ’76 presented the “Build the Flag” Program at the Masonic Home of Virginia on
November 6. There were 73 residents and 5 Heroes in attendance. The ceremony was well received.

In addition to the ceremony, Brother Troy Isakson and Joe Westfall presented a flag to the Masonic Home.
Bro. Terry Hilton accepted the flag on behalf of the Masonic Home. The flag has a significant history as it
was flown in Iraq and Afghanistan. While there over 100 reenlistments were performed under its watchful and
protective presence.

Hero presenters were Bros. John Howerton, Joe Westfall, Bill West, Troy Isakson, and Jeff McClelland.

LIHOLIHO KAI MOI CAMP, HAWAIIAN #9 (Jan Kershner,
Adjutant) On November 11, 2023, Camp Commander Jeremy
Hollaway with Bros. Dennis Egge and Roy Ota assisting, served as the
Color Guard for the Annual Pearl Harbor Submarine Base Veterans Day
Ceremonies at the Parche Memorial Park. Later, at the luncheon at
Lockwood Hall, Bro. Hollaway gave the "Toast to the Flag" with Bro.
Ota assisting.
