b. The dean participates in the evaluation and ranking of applicants.
c. The dean endorses the selected applicant for permanency or
promotion to the university faculty selection and promotions board of
which the dean is also a member.
D. The Dean, the faculty and the administration work together
for the improvement of the College.
a. Office targets are cascaded to faculty and staff;
b. The institute action plan and accomplishment of target;
c. Linkages of the Institute in Research and Extension Services;
d. Faculty and Staff Development; and
e. The Institution’s approved criteria and procedures in the recruitment
of the most qualified faculty and staff.
E. The recruitment, selection and appointment processes
include the following activities;
Hiring of Faculty
1. Faculty need analysis;
2. Publication and announcement of vacant positions based on need
3. Evaluation of applicant’s credentials/documents;
4. Conduct of demonstration-teaching and interview;
5. Administer psychological test, written examination and/or skills test;
6. Preparation of the Summary of Ranking and Evaluation;
7. Review and validation of the result evaluation;
