1 Describe what is happening in the picture. 2 Listen and read. tSl16
The park is full of people. And now it's early evening,
This is a special day . The sky is getting dark.
A very famous orchestra The lights from little torches
Is playing here today . Are shining in the park.
We've got a picnic blanket The concert's nearly over,
And our favourite things to eat: The music's very loud.
Biscuits, cakes and sandwiches. Now fireworks shoot into the sky
This is a lovely treat. And burst above the crowd.
We hear the trumpets calling This is the perfect concert.
And we hear the cymbals clang. This is the perfect day .
We hear the flutes and violins. It's time to leave the park now,
We hear the big drums bang. But I really want to stay .
When each piece is finished, We all pack up our picnics
The people clap and cheer. And we all go home to bed.
The music is amazing. I fall asleep, but I stW hear
We're happy to be here. The music in my head.
