     PLANTING 3000


     MANGROVE SEEDLINGS


     IN JUBAIL INDUSTRIAL CITY














       The Royal Commission in Jubail, in cooperation with Solvay Chemical Industries, organized a program to grow mangroves on the Al Batinah
       Island in Jubail industrial city.


       Director of Social Services Department at the Royal Commission in Jubail, Khalaf Al-Shammari said that the number of participants in the
       program  is  about  90  people  from  Solvay  Company  from  di erent  nationalities  who  contributed  to  the  cultivation  of  (3000)  mangrove
       seedlings, noting that the program aims to support the marine environment and wildlife in Jubail industrial city by cultivating Mangroves in
       the Arabian Gulf, which are plants that grow in salty coastal environments.

       Al-Shammari said that the program comes within the ongoing e orts of the Royal Commission in Jubail in the  eld of environmental
       protection and the promotion of national e orts to protect the marine environment to increase awareness of the importance of preserving
       this coastal plant.

                                  The Royal Commission Environmental Protection and Control Department kindly invites All
                                  Companies operating in the Jubail Industrial City to send:-

                                  (i) brief information on its Environmental Awareness Activities conducted in the previous quarter.
                                  (ii)  a  brief  environmental  article  in  electronic  ready  from  with  two  high  resolution  pictures
                                  attached in both Arabic and English in a CD RC-EPCD and/or to the following emails:
