      TOKYO OLYMPICS 2020,

      MEDALS AND ENVIRONMENTALLY

      FRIENDLY INNOVATIONS

The most important feature of Japan's hosting the Olympic Games may be the concern for preserving the environment with all the details,
foremost of which are the medals, which Japan decided to make from old donated devices. But Japan's creativity didn't just stop there!

Over the course of two full years, the Japanese donated what they do not need from their electronic devices in order to use them to
manufacture medals that will be awarded to the winners of the Olympic Games competitions which will be held in the capital Tokyo next year.

Through the site of the "Tokyo 2020" Olympic Games, the organizing committee directed "gratitude to everyone who cooperated in this
project", as the committee had launched an initiative to recycle the components of the old electronic devices to manufacture all the session
medals of, whether gold, or silver and bronze, which will be about 5,000 medals, The number of old cell phones to be used to manufacture the
medals exceeded 6 million, according to Reuters.

Japan's endeavor to contribute to preserving the environment is not limited to manufacture environmentally friendly medals, where the
world will see many other environmentally friendly Japanese innovations such as sidewalks which are able to reduce temperatures and are
able to absorb water, and ways to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, in addition to allocate cold areas for pedestrians to escape from high
       temperatures during the summer.

Reused plastics will also be used to be the clothes of workers and participants in the Olympics, and take advantage of the wood used in some
locations after the end of the Olympics in building real estate and manufacturing seats in public places.

An o cial spokesman at Tokyo Environmental O ce said that the tools planned to be used during the 2020 Olympics could be a permanent
feature of the cities, whether Japanese or elsewhere later on.
