ROYAL COMMISSION IN JUBAIL
CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL
CHILDREN'S DAY
Environmental Protection and Control Department participated in the activity of the International Children's Day organized by the Social
Services Department at the Center for Knowledge and Creativity during the period 28 - 20 November 2019 AD, as November 20th of every year
marks the international day for children. This year’s motto represents the main feature of this day which is the rejection of violence against
children and highlighting the importance for all parties in society to strive to change the reality of children around the world for the better.
This event aims to highlight the role of the Royal Commission in Jubail in caring for children, enhancing their capabilities and achieving their
aspirations, encouraging, fostering and developing creativity in children, and setting up programs to advance institutions directly related to
children and activating specialized initiatives for children.
The Environmental Protection and Control Department participated through the interactive environment exhibition, which includes
awareness corners on preservation of consumption and recycling bene ts, in addition to demonstrating the e orts of the Royal Commission
to monitor and protect the environment in Jubail Industrial City, correcting some misconceptions and explaining how children and families
can contribute in the preservation of the environment and its natural resources.
Additionally, the event included workshops for children provided by a number of departments of the Royal Commission and some companies
and a number of charitable societies in addition to schools, through the use of virtual reality technology on the correct way to extinguish res
as it aims to enhance re prevention and safety at home, school and car presented by the Security and Safety Department of the Royal
Commission in Jubail, in addition to the workshop (The Seven Habits), which aims to develop and strengthen the seven habits of successful
children.
