accommodation options for the employee that do not place an undue hardship on the
employer. The employer must determine if the unvaccinated employee presents a significant
risk in harm to health or safety that cannot be eliminated or reduced through reasonable

6. Does the federal government require a COVID-19 vaccine? No. To date, the neither the
EEOC, CDC, OSHA, nor any other federal government agency requires vaccination of
employees in the propane industry, nor has any federal agency published a recommendation
for mandatory vaccinations for employees in the propane industry.
