Resolution

WHEREAS, Scott Lybarger was a member of the Alabama Propane
Gas Association either through a supplier company or retail

marketer company since 1989; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Lybarger served as chairman of the Safety &
Education Committee numerous times during his years of
involvement; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Lybarger served as District Director, Secretary,
Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Alabama Propane
Gas Association; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Lybarger was awarded the President’s
Distinguished Services Award in 1997, 2004, 2006 and 2007; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Lybarger was instrumental in building the
Alabama Propane Gas Association office/training center; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Lybarger was held as a dear friend to all in the

Alabama Propane Gas Industry; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED that the Alabama Propane Gas Association on
December 21, 2017, officially honors the service and contributions
of Scott Lybarger by passage of this resolution and the declaration
that the Alabama Propane Gas Association Training Room located
at 173 Medical Center Drive, Prattville, Alabama shall hereafter be
recognized as the Scott Lybarger Training Room.
