from the Wildlife Trusts of the environmental
value of the regenerated landfill site. Viridor
and Carymoor staff worked closely to develop
a new management plan and to identify priority

the site providing poignant opportunities for
environmental education. From the tipping face

abundant wildlife, the site shows how society’s
wastefulness can be a catalyst for change and
help to inspire the next generation to do better.
