Material Recycling Facilities (MRFs)
Our network of MRFs have the largest
throughput capacity in the UK, transforming
mixed waste streams by separating them
into individual high quality material. These
can then be reprocessed and used to make
new products.

uBins
Our innovative uBins are an example of a
product produced entirely of reprocessed
materials.
We have partnered with Green Warehouse Ltd
who utilise our recycled plastic to produce
70L modular containers. These contain 57%
less carbon per kg than their virgin plastic
equivalent. The uBin is an exciting addition to
our product range and illustrates our material
expertise. By collecting customers’ waste and
recycling materials, as well as offering the uBin
to our customers, Viridor has achieved true
closed-loop recycling.
