to be disposed. Choose a company
which actively tries to reduce carbon
emissions by using only local waste
and recycling facilities.
Carbon Footprint
The UK’s Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)
scheme and the internationally recognised
Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) actively
encourage waste management and energy
providers to report their carbon footprint in the
annual Corporate Responsibility Report, to ensure
they are fully engaged with climate change and
the wider sustainability agenda.
