1997 Ceremonies to commemorate the 40 anniversary of the founding of JBF.

2006 Completion of cooperation with the Lumbini restoration project and publication
of the Lumbini Archaeological Survey Report.

2007 Ceremonies to commemorate the 50 anniversary of the founding of JBF.

2008 The 24 General Conference of The WFB took place in Asakusa, Tokyo.
2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. JBF conducted memorial services at victims’ cremations
in various locations, provides support in the aftermath and has continued supporting
activities for years since then.
2012 JBF changed its legal stated from foundation to public interest corporation.
2014 The Interfaith Ekiden Race Japan Program took place (continued until B.E. 2559 (2016).
2016 Kumamoto Earthquake. JBF provided support in the affected areas.
2017 Ceremonies to commemorate the 60 anniversary of the founding of JBF.
