Proceedings of The WFB, WFBY and WBU General Council Meeting

Preliminary

The Joint General Council Meeting commenced with a Buddha Puja by Venerable Phra
Shakyavongsvisuddhi.

This was followed by speeches by the following persons by H.E. Phan Wantanamitee
read by Mr. Phallop Thaiarry and by Conference Chairperson Rev. Masamichi Kobayashi.
The WFB General Council Meeting was completed first and then the representatives from
WFBY were invited on-stage to present WFBY reports. On behalf of The WFB, Vice-President
Mr. Phallop Thaiarry recorded the Organisation’s appreciation to Immediate Past President,
Mr. Denphong Suwannachairop for his services to WFBY for the past 18 years. Mr. Denphong
was then invited to present the reports covering the WFBY Biennial Report 2016-2018 and
Financial Report 2016-2018. WFBY General Secretary, Mr. Idanont Thaiarry then presented
the proposed amendments to WFBY Constitution. Finally, current President, Rev. Hakuga
Murayama, was then invited to the rostrum to present his new EXBO line-up for the term
2018-2020.
