Immediately after the introduction, Mr. Mooi Chee Onn and assisted by Mr. Chiew Wei Wing
led the sharing of the WFBY 10 Year Programme. It reminded all present that they must take
ownership of the Organisation and programme organized there-in. This is to ensure that the
programme organized will be relevant and useful in the development of the individuals in
attendance specifically and the organization generally. That session provided direction for each
participant to contribute more effectively in the next Standing Committee Meeting session. By
the end of the day a WFBY Working Calendar B.E. 2559-2561 (2016-2018) was drafted. The
Conference was then adjourned and closed with the traditional presentation and exchange of gifts.

16 - 19 December B.E. 2559 (2016) - WFBY Headquarter Team visited
Malaysia’s Regional Centers
The WFBY team led by President Mr. Denphong, Secretary General Mr. Idanont, Treasurer
Mr. Jirayu, Ms. Sirikant and Mr. Montiant called on the Malaysian Regional Centers such as
Buddhist Gem Fellowship (BGF), Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) and
Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia (BMSM).

This was followed by the 10 year Programme formulation and discussion with BGF President
and former WFBY Advisor Datuk Seri Dr. Victor Wee and Malaysian based ASGs.

4 February B.E. 2560 (2017) Joint MOU Partnership Agreement Between The WFB,
WFBY, and Lord Buddha Museum, Headquarters, Bangkok, Thailand

The WFB, The WFBY, and Buddha Museum, Debsirin Temple signed Joint MOU with
Khun Mae Dr. Siri Krinchai Foundation to help promoting Buddhism in Thailand and
internationally.

5 February B.E. 2560 (2017) World Buddhist Kitchen for Thailand B.E. 2560 (2017)
Due to flood in the Southern part of Thailand, The World Fellowship of Buddhists (The
WFB) and the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth (WFBY) together with regional centers; the
Young Buddhist Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage and Sirindhornrajavidyalai
Foundation under Royal Patronage jointly raise funds for the flood victims in Southern part of
Thailand.
