Preliminary

The Plenary Session 1 began with a welcome note by Secretary General, Mr. Idanont Thaiarry.
The recitation of the Opening Puja the Heart Sutra was led by Deputy President Rev. Hakuga
Murayama.
Agenda 1: Presidential speech by President, Mr. Denphong Suwannachairop
Mr. Denphong Suwannachairop welcomed and thanked everyone for attending
the 20 WFBY General Conference. He thanked everyone for the support
th
given to him throughout his tenure as President and his involvement in WFBY
for the last 18 years. The WFBY is very much alive today and he has initially
worked on resolving internal matter and conflicts amongst certain RCs. He
thanked Mrs. Kingkarn Arakputhanan for the seed money donated to WFBY
to restart their activities after cleaning up the Organisation. He then went to
review the WFBY Constitution to align it with The WFB to acknowledge the
original intention of the Organisation i.e. as a Youth Standing Committee of
The WFB. Finally, he looked forward to the realignment of WFBY so that the
Organisation can work in tandem with parent body The WFB.
The opening and closing balances remained about USD18,000/- despite the
many activities organized by the Organisation.

Advisor, Dr. Woraphat Phucharoen donated THB99,999/- through YBAT to
WFBY. That made WFBY richer by an additional amount of USD3,000/.

Agenda 2: Biennial Report by Secretary General, Mr. Idanont Thaiarry
Mr. Idanont Thaiarry, Secretary General presented the report.

Agenda 3: Proposed amendments to the Constitution by Secretary General,
Mr. Idanont Thaiarry
Mr. Idanont Thaiarry presented the proposed amendments to the Constitution.
The revised Constitution was adopted all countries present in this General
Conference.

Agenda 4: Financial Report by Treasurer, Mr. Jirayu Khewphanao
Mr. Jirayu Kaewphanao presented the Financial Report for term 2016-2018.
