On behalf of National Office of Buddhism Thailand, I would like to express my sincere
admiration and congratulation for the 29 General Conference of The World Fellowship of
th
Buddhists (The WFB) which is taking place at Narita, Japan.

The WFB biannual general conference is a good reminder for all members to recollect about
onuses of every one of us towards Buddhism. As a Buddhist, it is our prime task to propagate
teachings of the Buddha to reach every mankind for the sake of peace and prosperity of every
single being with a deliverance of the right understanding of Buddhism. Most importantly,
showing others as an example by your own practice. This is much better than teaching words
as it says: ‘actions speak louder than words.’

The current world is the world of the information and technology. However, it seems the
true beneficial IT is still absence from the world. The exemplary of the true beneficial IT for
mankind to follow is the kind of IT which is conducive for peace and prosperity of every life
and the world as a whole.
I, therefore, hope that The WFB General Conference would be an activity which contributes
in creating a good exemplary life according to the teachings of the Buddha so that all mankind
of the world can use as a model of the living a good life. At least, let us all lead our life with
loving-kindness which makes both human life and the world peace and sustainably happy.
