Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts DI - 97
Check if the result is ok? IN
Yes>go to Step 3.
NO> check and repair relevant failure. DI
3. Check the oil supply system of generator
a. Check if the high pressure pump leaks or is stuck. EG
b. Check if the oil pipe is broke and if the joint is secured and reliable.
c. Check if the oil metering cell and harness are ok. TR
d. Check the fuel pressure sensor (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault diagnosis–fuel
pressure sensor failure) AX
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4. FR
NO> check and repair relevant failure.
4. Check the injector and circuit ST
a. Check the injector (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault diagnosis–injector circuit
failure) BR
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5. BW
NO>replace the injector or relevant harness.
5. Check the crankshaft/cam shaft position sensor and relevant circuit EL
a. Check the crankshaft position sensor (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault
diagnosis–crank position sensor failure)
b. Check the camshaft position sensor (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault
diagnosis–camshaft position sensor failure)
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 6.
NO>replace the failed sensor or harness.
6. Check the coolant temperature sensor and circuit
a. Check the coolant temperature sensor. (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault
diagnosis–coolant manifold temperature sensor failure)
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 7.
NO>replace relevant sensors or harness.
7. Check the accelerator pedal sensor and circuit
a. Check the accelerator pedal (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault
diagnosis–accelerator pedal failure)
Check if the result is ok?
