DI - 158 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

Failure phenomenon Phenomenon description

Diagnosis procedure
1. Check the wiper motor assembly

a. Check the low speed function

Connect the positive pole of battery to Terminal 1 of wiper
motor assembly and the negative pole to Terminal 6. Check
if the motor is running at the low speed control.

b. Check high speed function
Connect the positive pole of battery to Terminal 2 of wiper
motor assembly and the negative pole to Terminal 6. Check
if the motor is running at the high speed control.

c. Check the reset function

Confirm if the wiper motor works properly at high and low
speed. Disconnect the wiper motor connector and measure
the conduction between Terminal 3 and 6 of wiper motor.
Standard resistance:
Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B080(3)-B080(6) About 0Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>check or replace the harness. If the failure still exists, go to Step 2.
NO>repair or replace the wiper motor assembly.
