                                              Vehicle control system- ignition switch assy

               Ignition switch assy

               Inspection

                                                                1.      Inspect the ignition switch assy
                                                                (a).    Measure the resistance between the pins
                                                                        and carry out the switching inspection.













               Standard:                                                                                            81
                        Switch position                       Pin                           Resistance
                            LOCK                          1-2-3-4-5-6-7                      > 1MΩ
                            ACC                               1-7                             < 2Ω
                             ON                              1-3-7                            < 2Ω
                           START                             1-2-3                            < 2Ω


               If the resistance doesn’t conform to the standard, replace with a new ignition switch assy.
