vehicle control system- ignition switch assy

Replacement

1. Remove the combination switch assy (Refer to “Chapter 41 Steering
Mechanism-Combination Switch Assy, Overhaul”)
2. Remove the ignition switch assy
(a). Disconnect the connector of the ignition
switch.

(b). Remove the retainer ring with circlip
pliers and sharp-nose pliers.
NOTICE:
The retainer ring removed can’t be used
again.

(c). Loosen the 3 bolts.

(d). Pull out the ignition switch from the
steering column.
