Diagnosis – Illumination
3. Checking harnesses
(a) Use a multimeter to measure resistance of harness between pin 87 of IG power relay R14
and pin 1 of B104.
(b) Use a multimeter to measure resistance of harness between pins 1 of C106 and backup light
switch C032.
(c) Use a multimeter to measure resistance of harness between pin 2 of backup light switch
C032 and pin 9 of C102.
(d) Use a multimeter to measure resistances of harnesses between pin 9 of J101 and pins 5 of 04
left and right combination taillights J002 and J005.
Resistance: ≤2Ω
Are check results normal ?
Yes > Replace bulbs.
No > Repair or replace harnesses.
