Diagnosis- combination meter

Basic checks

Notice:
When you perform basic checks, the engine must reach its operating temperature. Any road
test must be carried out by two or more persons.
Step Check item Measure

1 Checking air pressure gauge Y Go to step 2.

• Indicated pressure ≥ 0.6Mpa. N Go to symptoms chart.
• Air pressure should rise from 0 to 0.4MPa
in 4 minutes (at the same time, low
pressure alarm buzzer should stop alarm)
04 with engine at 75% nominal power speed
(1,500r/min).
• Vehicle driving is forbidden when air
pressure gauge pointer is in red zone.
Are check results normal?
2 Checking tachometer Y Go to step 3.

• Connect a diagnostic tester, and select N Go to symptoms chart.

• Observe tachometer readings at
700r/min, 1,000r/min, 1,500r/min, and
2,000r/min respectively.
• Error should be within ±70~200r/min.
Are check results normal?
3 Checking speedometer Y Go to step 4.

• Connect a diagnostic tester, and select N Go to symptoms chart.

• Observe speedometer readings at 40km/h,
60km/h, and 80km/h respectively.
• Error should be within ±5km/h.
• Pointer should not throb at constant speed
or uniform acceleration.
Notice:
Both tire wear and overinflation or
underinflation will result in error.

4 Checking oil pressure indicator light Y Go to step 5.
• Ignition switch: ON. N Go to symptoms chart.
• Oil pressure indicator light should come
on.
• After the engine is started, oil pressure
indicator light should go out.

5 Checking generator indicator light Y Go to symptoms chart.
• Ignition switch: ON (ACC).
