WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Dear Customer,

For each Foton Commercial vehicle manufactured by Beijing Foton International Trade Co., Ltd. and within the specified warranty
period or mileage range, the warranty service can be provided for its faults and part damages incurred due to quality defects in
product design, manufacture, assembly, materials, etc. after an authorised Foton dealer identifies and Beijing Foton International
Trade Co., Ltd. confirms that the problems are Fotons responsibilities. Any defective part/s shall be retained at the Foton dealership
for reference.

1. Scope of Warranty
This New Vehicle Warranty is given by Beijing Foton. Foton's ultimate responsibility is to repair the product. That is, the only
way of remedying any defect of the vehicle is to repair or replace the defective part (component). The warranty responsibility
mentioned by Foton in this Warranty & Service Information Booklet is the only guarantee for its products. The Foton Warranty
does not cover any financial losses, including consequential loss arising directly or indirectly from any defect or subsequent
inability to use the vehicle. The Foton Warranty does not cover any compensation for consequential damages or loss to persons,
property, cargo, financial or any cost arising and relative to accommodation, meals, telephone calls, unauthorised towing
charges and hire charges, or any repairs after the expiration of the stipulated warranty period. This Warranty does not apply for
Foton vehicles exported or operated outside New Zealand. Similarly, this Warranty is not provided for Foton vehicles purchased
overseas and imported into New Zealand.
In case of improper use of the vehicle or any of its parts, failure to carry out maintenance according to the specified interval
requirements, or any part failure incurred due to modification or installation done without the permission of Foton you will not
have the warranty claim right and your direct or indirect warranty application will be rejected by Foton.
