PREVENTION

      as the Ultimate Cure

Our work in cancer prevention continues
with the exciting news that Swifty will be
a Foundational Presenting Sponsor at the
       Inaugural Childhood Cancer Prevention
Symposium. It will be held in DC on
Oct 25-26th. We join the EVAN Foundation
and the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation
       as sponsors.

It will bring together childhood cancer advocates, scientific
experts, clinical, research and regulatory communities
to create a scientific foundation for childhood cancer
prevention. The goal is to elevate prevention as a new focus
in childhood cancer. Prevention as the ultimate cure.

                                        Michael as an Everyday Superhero
SOUL It’s so fun when something you’ve always secretly believed to be true is

FOOD acknowledged publicly by someone else. That’s how it felt to us when we received the
news that Michael had been nominated to be an Everyday Superhero in Elmhurst’s

by Patti Gustafson Art Museum’s Marvelocity exhibit. The Everyday Heroes were a companion exhibit
                                        to Marvelocity.

It was exciting to visit the
                                        exhibit with Michael’s cousins’
                                        little kids. They are really
                                        into superheroes, and it was
                                        gratifying to show them you
                                        don’t have to shoot webs
out of your palms and fly
through the air to be a real
                                        superhero. Superheroes
                                        are all around us and
                                        their powers can be quite
                                        simple and still be mighty
                                        impactful. Like donating
                                        your tumor tissue so future
                                        children have more effective
                                        treatments for brain cancer,
