STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE
40 Years of Achievement!!
In the beginning, it was Motivational Speaker-Coach, John Alston, then Coach Tony Magee became his successor. We have only had 2 Motivational Leaders!
Our MC’s have been many, but a few stand out. Larry McCormick, Dave Clark and Wren T. Brown.
Our Confreres/Mentors have been with us since the inception of the Program, and we are especially grateful! Our Confreres are men who serve as mentors to our Achievers by volunteering their time during our Achiever season that begins in December and ends in April. Our Confreres share their experiences, knowledge, and talents with our Achievers in group workshop sessions coordinated by The Angel City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. (Confrere Committee).
Community Service has always been included in the Achiever Program and varies from year to year. Achievers have assisted with art framing involving paintings done by young students from the Children’s Collective; renovating houses in the community; feeding the homeless; assisting clinicians from Colgate in providing dental exams to children in the community; renovating housing for domestic violence survivors; assisting with preparing a floral float for the Rose Parade. These are just a few. There are so many more!
The Angel City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and Achievement Trust want to continue to express our gratitude and thankfulness for all the support and assistance we have received over the last 40 years from our Donors, Vendors,
