TITLE: Benefits in Learning English
Thesis statement:
There are a number of benefits of learning English.
Point 1: Learning English can help you succeed in business and education
Supporting details:
a) English is often the primary language used in academia.
b) Studying English can open up a world of possibilities for your future.
c) The business industry also relies heavily on the English language.
d) The demand for employees who can speak more than one language has doubled in
recent years (New American Economy, n.d.)
Point 2: Through learning English, we can build relationships with society
Supporting details:
a) English is a social language, and learning is a social skill.
b) Learning English can connect you to people around the world.
c) Learning English can do through practice by having one-on-one conversations with
English speakers or other students learning English
d) Students did consider Facebook to be an essential learning tool because young people
mostly use Facebook (Universiti Sains Malaysia)
Conclusion: Learning English can help and facilitate the lives of individuals in terms of social,
economic and political.
