boarding community. Unlike previous years,
this edition allowed hostels to choose their
dishes within budget and time constraints.
Students assisted in purchasing ingredients,
learning skills like bargaining and gaining
Round insights into regional differences.

Round 2 occurred on May 18, featuring
dishes like spicy garlic pasta with crispy
okro (Oduduwa), butter chicken pasta
(El-Kanemi), and Obi’s pasta with meat-
ball sauce paired with coconut-pineapple
drink. Although all dishes impressed, Danfo-

experience was exhilarating, leaving antici-
pation for next year’s competition.
