The first match of the boys’ category was Re-

gent Team A vs Glisten Academy and before
the game, our coach Mr. Arthur gave us a mo-
tivational speech that improved team morale
and we were ready as we would ever be. Fi-
nally, the jump ball was done and the game
began.

This was a hard-fought game but we started
to pull through at the end of the first half and
led by me with 6 points which was the highest
of the whole contest, we would sweep Glisten
in a 13-0 game. After this game, Regent Team
B would also win their game against Hillside
leaving only both Regent teams to play in the
final, and of course, we would get things done
beating Regent Team B 9-5 earning the right

to call us the inaugural basketball competi-
tion champions.
