Introduction
rs Esther Ajala is an enthusiastic teach-
er trainer, pastoral leader and specialist
teacher of English, English Literature and
M PSHE, with over twenty-five years of teach-
ing experience in various settings across two conti-
nents. She schooled in the United Kingdom and Nigeria,
obtaining a BA (ED), an MA in Education Management,
the QTS and various teaching certificates. She has held
a variety of management roles in education including
department leadership, pastoral leadership and max-

School Improvement who may feel excluded in the classroom.
Her passion for teaching and maximising students’ po-
tential enthuses those she meets. She has worked as a
trainer with schools and teachers in the United King-
dom and other developing countries, helping them to
develop a variety of management systems and teach-
ing strategies that are of practical use for school lead-
ership and in the classroom.
Her intention is to inspire teachers so that they may in-
spire their students in return. She teaches to the top,
encouraging students to reach for the top. Her hobbies
include reading and travelling. She is excited to be able
to share best practices in her current role of AVP School
Improvement and Teacher Trainer at The Regent Sec-
ondary School.
