he past two weeks have reminded us how full Regent life
can be in just a short time. The Boarding MasterChef rolled
through all three rounds, with bread as the star ingredient,
T toasted, twisted, layered, and loved. Each hostel brought
their flavour and flair, turning friendly rivalry into something truly
inspiring.
Not far from the kitchen, the Science Quiz Competition gave
us another kind of heat. With students going head-to-head in
biology, chemistry, and physics, it was tense, fast, and filled with
proud moments. Senegal took the win, but every house brought
energy and heart. Kayla Sasetu’s song midway through added the
perfect breath of calm.
This issue also offers something quieter but no less important.
Our Safeguarding section encourages us to notice behavioural
changes, the subtle signs that often say more than words. And the
Medical Corner keeps us grounded with tips to stay healthy, alert,
and well.
So whether it’s cooking, quizzing, caring, or reflecting, these past
weeks have shown us again what it means to learn, grow, and look
out for one another, the Regent way.
