Boarding
Masterchef
Competition
It was fun but stressful.

hectic.
Barakat Smith (Year 9 Congo) relects on her
experience participating in the just concluded
Masterchef Competition
or Boarding MasterChef Round 1,
the theme was bread, and we had
Fto make starters using that idea.
My hostel, Oduduwa, made garlic naan
bread that was soft and buttery with just
the right amount of garlic. We served it
with creamy butter chicken, crispy curry
potatoes, and sweet mango chutney. For
drinks, we made pink strawberry lemon-
ade, which balanced the spices well.
It was fun but stressful. We worked well as
a team, even when the kitchen got hectic.
The judges seemed impressed, and when
Oduduwa was announced as the winner,
we were all proud. We cannot wait for the
next round.
