experience participating in the Inter-House In the end, it was an en-

n 28th February, I participated in the participants as well as the
               long-awaited Inter-house Maths
                                                                 audience, and I would love
        Ocompetition. I was quite excited
as it was my first time participating in a

maths competition but I was nervous as to participate again!
well, because we only had 20 seconds
to answer a question; luckily me and my
partner managed to solve the questions,
get bonus points and emerge as the win-
ners with 56 points in the year 9 category!
Which contributed to Congo House com-

        ing 2nd overall.

There is a lot of pressure when you are on
stage, and our hands were shaking before
we could click on an answer. I didn’t real-
ly know how to prepare for it as we didn’t
Victory! know the topics, and after all, it was men-

tal maths, so I just did some quizzes, which
helped. In the end, it was an engaging

event for both the participants as well as
the audience, and I would love to partici-
        pate again!
