Dear Parents,
fter the excitement of English week
last week, the school has returned to

progressing well and the IGCSE Examina-
tions continue for the Year 11 pupils. There
are examinations taking place every day.
This week pupils in Year 9 went to the Na-
tional Space Centre in Abuja. They went in
two different groups, one on Wednesday
and the other on Thursday. At the space
centre the pupils were given a guided tour
in two groups on each day. The trip was very
worthwhile and the pupils found the tour
very interesting. Many thanks to the Science
Department for organizing the trip.
On Friday, the Academic Accolades Assem-
bly took place in the Assembly Hall to cel-
ebrate the academic achievements of our
pupils with the highest grade averages from
term two. Celebrating academic achieve-
ment is a very important ingredient in build-
ing a culture of academic excellence.
