The first round included solo tracks. Odudu-
wa’s performance was fantastic, and Obi’s
27TH APRIL, 2024 performance in particular blew me away, but

it doesn’t mean everyone else’s wasn’t spec-
tacular.

The following round, the group category, was

a blend of heartfelt and heart-racing emotion,
while the modern category had some of my
favourite performances by far, with Obi once
again offering a spectacle with their rendition
of ‘The Greatest Show’.

The fourth and final category was Nigerian,

and this time, Danfodio hostel shook the stage
by putting their heart and soul into every lyr-
ic. In essence, the singing competition was an
emotional rollercoaster, and I highly recom-
mend that people attend any future ones.
