Relief Sculpture Origami Flowers
n this project, students delved into the world of relief sculpture, distinguishing it from other
sculptural forms and exploring how shapes and forms can protrude or recede from a flat
Isurface. Through hands-on experimentation, they explored basic origami techniques to create
three-dimensional elements that enhanced their relief artwork. Additionally, students developed
eco-friendly skills by upcycling recycled plastic cups, fostering creativity in repurposing everyday
materials and understanding the environmental benefits of sustainable art practices. By integrating
these skills, students created unique relief sculptures that showcased their artistic expression and
commitment to environmental responsibility.
