he big topic for Year 4 is Water for Life. Why Water? And why not Water? Water is the essence
of life, flowing through every vein of our planet, nourishing and sustaining all living things. It’s
Tthe rhythm that makes our hearts beat, the pulse that makes our ecosystems thrive, and the
force that shapes our landscapes. Every drop of water is a gift, a reminder of the preciousness of
life itself. The children discovered through their knowledge harvest that water can be a friend and
foe.
