 Competition, the Inter-House Chess Competition,
 the Inter-House Karate competition, the Speech

 and Mathematics Competitions, the Basketball
 Competition, the Boarding Debate Competition
 and the Instrumental Competition to name only
 some of them. This list is testament to the fact
 that The Regent Secondary School offers a wide
 range of diverse opportunities for the pupils here.



 Today the Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Jour-
 neys trip to the UK departed from school. We have
 twenty-nine pupils taking part on the trip and they
 will spend three days in London before travelling
 to Wales for the Adventure Journey hike. The pu-
 pils were full of excitement this morning and look-
