Last Saturday, we arrived at Lycée
Français Marcel Pagnol at 9 am, and
were greeted by a number of French people. We

20 day. The day unfolded with engaging games and
made conversation and they told us about the
captivating presentations, showcasing the diverse
talents and cultures of participants.
24 24 Our school’s performance, a rendition of a clas-
sic French song, added to the performances of
cultural exchange that defined the Francophonie
event. The theme of the event was based on the
Olympics this year, which is being held in Paris.
I learnt a lot about French women in sports and
the journeys and trials they had to face to get to
where they are today.

nol was a delightful journey of unity and celebra-
